After a development period of almost 2 years, Colleton Software is pleased to announce the pre-release of our new MICS 2.0 software product. Starting, July 5th, 2011, you may call our office to arrange for the installation of the BETA software on a machine in your office. Our technical staff will install MICS 2.0 on your computer system.
We recommend limiting the software to 1or 2 laptops or desktops. We would like real data from live calls entered into the new software to verify the various components of the product.
MICS 2.0 will be for your organization to test the new product as well as learn the new features. The software will not be used to perform actual eCPR calls for submission at this time. Squads will continue to use MICS 1.X. The new version will be used for learning and testing only. The 2.0 version can be installed on the same laptop that you are currently utilizing for ePCR. However calls run on 2.0 cannot be submitted at this time for Premis compliance or for Medicare Billing. We expect this beta stage to last approximately 30 days.
Most importantly, we want and need your feedback and impressions of the new MICS. We ask that you record your experiences and communicate your thoughts with our technical staff. We want to know if you encounter problems, if you are pleased with the changes or if you have ideas on better improving the software. We will take your experiences and ideas and use those ideas in the final release of the product.
