Visual Basic Programmer - Entry Level
Colleton Software currently has an immediate opening
for an entry level programmer to become part of our
team in the Walterboro, SC. office.
The qualified candidate will have met following
criteria:
Responsibilities: A successful candidate will
demonstrate a good understanding of the software
development life cycle, change management procedures
and be able to provide customer focused solutions to
the business. In addition, the candidate should be a
self-starter with strong troubleshooting and
communication skills. The candidate must be able to
perform analysis, design, testing and documentation
on small projects or tasks, and demonstrate the
flexibility to work on multiple projects based on
shifting priorities.
Education: Associates Degree or Equivalent.
Basic Qualifications: One year of experience
or equivalent proficiency level in software
development with Visual Basic. Experience year in
working with .Net technologies and systems analysis
experience is an added bonus. Proficiency in
different Crystal Reports reporting platforms is a
plus. A good understanding of the software
development life cycle and the ability to work in a
highly charged, fast moving environment.
Knowledge: Strong interpersonal and
development skills; Hands-on experience in the
following technologies - VB, VB.Net, Crystal
Reporting, XML, SQL, web services. Experience in
developing medical software a plus.
Competencies: Problem Solving,
Prioritization, Customer Focus, Teamwork and
communication.
